Singer releases EP before Fair show
Northern California’s Colleen Heauser has released an EP on the eve of a performance at the Nevada County Fair in Grass Valley.

Heauser, a pop country singer and songwriter, recently performed at Hot Summer Nights in downtown Nevada City and is scheduled to perform from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, on the Pine Tree stage at the Fairgrounds.

The lead single on her new EP is called “Dancing in the Rain,” which includes the lyrics, “You can go your own way, some might say that you’re insane, but shine anyway.”

Heauser’s resume includes opening for Dan + Shay, The Eli Young Band and Jerrod Niemann. In the past year, she has performed at the Nugget Casino Resort in Reno, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at South Lake Tahoe, and the Cal Expo in Sacramento.

The EP, which is a CD with fewer selections, is available at colleenheauser.com or can be downloaded on iTunes, Google Play and CD Baby.
