Union Hill School holding art auction on June 27

Union Hill School is holding a Live Art Auction and Sale in June to support and maintain its Art Education Program.

The Art Auction and Sale will feature 25 local professional artists showcasing many mediums of art. The art will be for sale via silent auction, artist’s booths and a live auction from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, at the Grass Valley Holiday Inn Express.

A live auction will be held at 6:30 p.m.

The auction is being put together by Lisa Williams and more than 20 volunteer art docents who have made saving the Union Hill School’s art program their mission.

Tickets can be purchased at Union Hill School, Summer Thymes Café, La-Te-Da Boutique and Nevada City Picture Framing. The cost is $15 in advance and $25 at the door.

The ticket price includes live auction, art sale, appetizers, wine, live music and entry into a raffle for prizes. There will also be an Art Demo by Kansas City Art Institute and UH alumni Krystal Kuhn.

If you are unable to attend this event but would like to make a donation to the art program, tax deductible donations can be mailed to Union Hill School Art Program, 11638 Colfax Hwy, Grass Valley, CA 94945. A receipt will be mailed back to you.

All proceeds directly support Union Hill School’s Art Education Program.
