SYRCL to host Spainish-themed fundraiser on June 5 in Nevada City
The South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) will hold its largest fundraising event of the year on Saturday, June 5, at Miners Foundry in Nevada City.
The 22nd Annual Auction and River Celebration, Las Aguas Vivas del Yuba, will feature Spanish-themed wine and food at a pre-event mixer. The fundraiser, which goes from 5 to 10:30 p.m., will celebrate the Living Waters of the Yuba.
Coufos, Montoliva, Nevada City Winery, Pilot Peak, Sierra Starr and Solune wineries will pour 12 of their best wines that will be served with tapas prepared by Jim Eckardt of Club 141 in Grass Valley. Carlos de la Fuente will play flamenco guitar.
A silent and live auction includes:
» Seven nights in an Incline Village home
» a retreat to the Yuba River for 4 days, 3 nights
» seven nights for up to 6 people in Mazatlan
» two nights at a house on Rollins Lake;
» guided fishing trips.
