Bicycle racers, including Lance Armstrong (middle of the pack), turn the corner onto Broad Street in Nevada City with thousands of racing fans cheering them on. The professional bicycle teams did one lap in downtown Nevada City before going down Pine Street and then Zion Street before going on to Ridge Road as they started a 104-mile race in Stage 1 of the 2010 Amgen Tour of California. Mark Cavendish of HTC-Columbia won the first stage, which ended in Sacramento.
