French soiree comes to the Foundry
A taste of Paris comes to Nevada City on Friday, July 20, when the Nevada City Film Festival and the Miners Foundry Cultural Center presents “Amélie,” the 2001film starring Audrey Tatou.
The film explores what happens when one woman decides to improve the world by changing the lives of the people she knows.
As part of the “Food & Film Series,” the evening’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. at Miners Foundry, 325 Spring St. in Nevada City, and will include music by Beaucoup Chapeaux, the film and a dinner at 8 p.m. of French crêpes by Isabelle’s Soul Kitchen Crêperie. A no-host bar featuring French wines also will be available.
