Comedy ‘Angry Housewives’ returning to Off Broadstreet
“Angry Housewives,” the zany comedy that originated in Seattle in the 1980s, returns Jan. 13 through Feb. 18 to Off Broadstreet Theater, 305 Commercial St., Nevada City.
The adult play, directed by A.M. Collins and Chad Henry, features an Off Broadstreet veteran cast, including Harriet Totten (“Lend Me A Tenor”) as Jetta, the downtrodden housewife turned punk-rock lead singer, and Jed Dixon (“It’s All About Love” and “Greater Tuna”) as “Lewd Fingers.”
Other cast members include Danny McCammon (“The Full Monty” and “Greater Tuna”) as Wally; Nadia White (“Nunsense” and “The Christmas Show”) as Wendi; Kate Haight (“The Full Monty”) as Carol; Casey Burke (“The Full Monty”) as the rebellious teenager Tim; and Paul Micsan (“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”) as Larry.
