Rescheduled: Living oils film coming to Sustainable Living Center on Nov. 22

The film The Marche Sprouting Method & Living Oils premiers at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, at the APPLE Center for Sustainable Living in downtown Nevada City.

The movie features methods discovered by Master Sprout Alchemist Robin Marche, who produces massive amounts of freshly sprouted vegetables without daily rinsing. The movie, which will be available on DVD, also shows living oils made from seeds and nuts as well as how to make the oils without using an expensive cold press.

Daniel and Darlene Cavallaro and Joshua Green produced the film. They worked for more than a year with Marche, who came to Nevada County to share methods he developed while living for more than 20 years in the Arizona desert.

The film is part of the Seeds of Sustainability (SOS) educational series, a program of the Interdependent Project and a SeThInk Media production, which was founded by the Cavallaros and Green.

The premier will be followed by a celebration at the raw-food restaurant The Fix-33, which is next door to the Center for Sustainable Living at 412 Commercial Street. The event is free but a $3 to $5 donation is suggested.
