SALMAGUNDI! A Mid-Summer Variety Show

You are probably wondering, what is Salmagundi?

The word "salmagundi" is derived from the French word salmigondis, which means a disparate assembly of things, ideas or people, forming an incoherent whole. Historically a salad dish originating in the early 17th century England and comprising many different and disparate ingredients, "Salmagundi" is used figuratively in modern English to mean a mixture or assortment of things. It was also purportedly a meal served on pirate ships, and composed of a stew of anything the cook had on hand.

So how, pray tell, does this relate to our upcoming evening or merriment and wonder?
