After a one-month hiatus, the Nevada City Advocate is back on the streets today. The September edition has stories on office sharing, city council issues, the Greenhouse School of Music, Nevada City Film Festival, Sustainable Living Center, Miners Foundry’s 150th anniversary plans, and Pepper, who will march as Bo in the Constitution Day Parade. We’ll also have two new columns: Simplify by Shawn Tuttle and Taking Care of Business by Ruth Schwartz. The Canine Connection by Cheryl Noble and Gardening Matters by Jerry and Candace Hodkins are also in the September edition.

  The free community paper published four times in July before its printer, Herald Printing of Sacramento, went out of business after being in business for 59 years.

   The newspaper is returning as a monthly publication that will continue its focus on local, community and business news and entertainment. The September edition has stories on office sharing, city council issues, the Greenhouse School of Music, Nevada City Film Festival, Sustainable Living Center, Miners Foundry’s 150^th anniversary plans, and Pepper, who will march as Bo in the Constitution Day Parade. We have two new columns: Simplify by Shawn Tuttle and Taking Care of Business by Ruth Schwartz. The Canine Connection by Cheryl Noble and Gardening Matters by Jerry and Candace Hodkins are also in the September edition.
